Connect to your heart and empower yourself

When life throws a curveball at you, it's good to have a self-care practice that you can count on to muster the courage and calm to deal -gracefully- with the challenge.

This is a practice that I recommend doing daily. It's really simple and soothing. Begin by placing your hands on your heart. Feel the warmth of your own touch. Breathe gently and deeply into your heart center. Breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth. Speak the following words to yourself, out loud or silently, in a warm and caring tone: This is a moment of suffering. Suffering is a part of life. May I be kind to myself in this moment. May I give myself the compassion I need. You may elaborate this as you wish. Breathe in a sense of loving kindness for yourself . and smile...

This is your life. It’s precious. Take great care of yourself.
