HI, I'M KATE !
I’m 1/2 French and 1/2 British and I spent my childhood in Canada.
We moved a lot when I was young and I decided, once I started living a life of my own, to “ground”myself and stay in Paris.
I became a drama teacher and worked with amateurs as well as professionals .
Children, adolescents and adults.
Perhaps it was because I wasn’t “just” a drama teacher or because I really wanted to help my students deal with their emotions without having to “relive” them through their parts,
I studied meditation and included it in my own life as well as in my teaching…
I noticed how little my students knew how to breathe…and relax.
The part of my lesson devoted to helping them get from the “busyness” of their day to actually being in touch with their authentic and vulnerable self became more and more important.
My students really loved the liberating feeling they got when they moved out of their thinking mind and got back into their bodies.
Also, concurrently, progressively and in a natural way, I discovered how holding space for the students to be vulnerable was helping them on a personal level too.
I would define my work as being “a loving mirror” which doesn’t mean there weren’t things to improve and transform but that it was essential to reflect something-even a tiny thing- that was good about them …so they could start building their confidence.
Being vulnerable and feeling held in a loving, non-judgemental space is powerfully healing.

Body Awareness…which became ...
Awareness of the thoughts and feelings too.
I witnessed how, over months (sometimes just weeks) my students started
USING THEIR SENSITIVITY IN THEIR CREATIVITY.

On a personal level, I can say that I lived many years in worry…
To cut a long story short, when I began practicing what I taught : as I released fear and built my own personal mindful movement & breathing practice, I found my inner balance, my joy.
I LOVE LIFE AND LIFE LOVES ME !
MY PASSION IS TO EMPOWER PEOPLE WITH THE TOOLS I HAVE GLEANED OVER THE YEARS.
Because my students are from different countries in the world, they inspired me to create video courses. To FIND SIMPLE SOLUTIONS TO THE STRESS OF MODERN LIFE.
